Killing a Novice Diver Underwater is Easy
WEDNESDAY, 28 NOVEMBER 2007
Killing an inexperienced diver underwater will be an easy task. This is the latest result of the ongoing investigation on the death of former model Tina Watson.
Watson, 26, was found dead on the sea floor by Wade Singleton on October 22, 2003. Singleton was the trip director on the dive boat when Watson had gone diving on the shipwreck of the Yongala in Townsville, Australia with her husband Gabe Watson. They have been married for only 10 days.
Part of the investigation showed that Watson suffered oxygen deprivation before drowning. Furthermore, the local police of Helena, Alabama named Mr. Watson, who is a trained rescue diver, a suspect in the death of his wife. Mr. Watson declined to attend the inquest but was willing to give evidence by video-link.
