Fifty-four year old Rebecca Budd of Ashland has died while scuba diving in the Gilboa Diving Quarry last Sunday.
Budd was with her husband and other divers from the Ashland area last Sunday. She left her companions, and joined another group while scuba diving. She was found 66 feet below water, and was pulled at 11:41 am. Every month since April, there is one scuba diver dying in the quarry. Budd is the fourth diver who died this year.
