Woman Dies in Gilboa Diving Quarry
  Woman Dies in Gilboa Diving Quarry Fifty-four year old Rebecca Budd of Ashland has died while scuba diving in the Gilboa Diving Quarry last Sunday. Budd was with her husband and other divers from the Ashland area last Sunday. She left her companions, and joined another group while scuba diving. She was found 66 feet below water, and was pulled at 11:41 am. Every month since April, there is one scuba diver dying in the quarry. B

  Teen Scuba Divers Join Deep Climb Scientists from the Tampa Bay area will be diving 6,000 feet at Mauna Kea on Hawaii’s Big Island for the Operation: Deep Climb in October.   Florida Man Dies as Lobster Mini-Season Starts Florida - James Gilkinson, 58, from Venice died Wednesday morning while on a scuba diving trip with his family. Gilkinson died at Cudgoe Key during the start of the two-day lobster mini-season. According to Monroe County Sheriff's Office Sgt.   Scuba Diver who died off Manalua Bay, Identified A 60-year-old woman who died while on a scuba diving trip yesterday has been identified as Kathleen Aure of Oakland, California.   Diver Found Floating Off La Jolla Shores A man who was estimated to be in his 40's was found dead in the area of La Jolla Shores beach. His name was not released yet but he was identified to be the man who told the lifeguards that he was new in the area.
