A search and rescue is on-going after a Chicago man disappeared last Saturday at the Lake of the Ozarks. Twenty-eight year old Robert Siatka was with friends on the boat near Osage Beach and went diving underwater to retrieve a pair of sunglasses.
The Missouri Water Patrol responded to the scene for recovery operations. The patrol’s Dive Team had been using its side scan sonar device in the search, but hadn’t detected a body. Friends tried to search for Siatka but he's nowhere to be found.
Missouri Water Patrol officers will again conduct an extensive search in the area where the victim was last seen.
