Learn the Basic Skills in Underwater Activities
TUESDAY, 12 DECEMBER 2006
A new program designed to let participants know the basic skills in underwater activities is offered by the Upper Keys Association of Dive and Snorkel Operators. The program is called "Try Scuba" and is open to ages 8 years old and up.
Annual event will happen at the Upper Florida Keys on June 10-16, 2007. The program is designed to see what is like to blow bubbles underwater. Also participants will learn the basic skills involved in the controlled environment of the swimming pool.
Last year, many of the Try Scuba participants took the full certification course and dive on the beautiful reefs of the Upper Florida Keys. Event staff can also arrange schedules for those people who want to go on a guided scuba dive.
