Japanese Diver in Critical Condition

A visitor from Japan who is said to be a licensed diver was taken to Straub Clinic and Hospital after a scuba diving accident in Kewalo Basin in Hawaii.
Alex Mason was in critical condition after diving in the water between 35 and 40 feet deep. Other divers saw him and pulled him onto the back of the boat. He was not breathing and had no pulse. Mason who is a president and chief executive officer of aaadiving.com was part of a Japanese tour.
He was rushed to a pier in the harbor and was received by the city emergency medical services technicians.
