Children with Diabetes Join Diving Event
SUNDAY, 27 AUGUST 2006
A dive event set for young diabetics will be held on September 3, 2006 in Palos Verdes Estates in California.
The event, which is organized by the Gangl-Plant Juvenile Diabetes Program, aims to educate, protect and assist Juvenile/Type 1 Diabetics in Southern California and around the world. Their vision is to have a safe, fun and healthy long life with Type 1 Diabetes.
Likewise, the event which includes scuba diving and boarding will start at 10 am and end at 2 pm.
Those who would like to join will meet at the gazebo at Malaga Cove in the 400 block of Paseo del Mar. Registration is only $10.
