here are the most common troubles i've been through when i was just starting to dive. maybe if the other divers can also share their experiences, then we may be able to help the new ones
-i get so annoyed by the valve at first. after biting it for 15 minutes or so, it just irritates me and makes me want to go up as soon as possible.. my jaw really aches! -for many occasions before, i always felt ill upon making a safety stop. and there! i start to throw up underwater. sometimes though, i get to hold it til will go back to top. -during those first few dives, i feel heavy headache. literally as if my head's going to EXPLODE!
So there! if anyone here experiences all these too, then what did u do to overcome all these? il share mine too

for your tired jaw, probably u can just shop around for a new mouthpiece. as for me, it took me awhile to find the one that worked for me..and now, i can let it stay in my mouth during long dives w/o any hassle and its like no effort at all. buy a few of those mouthpiece ur comfortable with..your local store may sometimes run out of stock.
sickness on safety stops? well, it happens to every newby i think. i fight it bby staring at something that's not movin. concentrate on it. and keep myself busy by thinking of anything else except the sickness im feeling.

he's right, pick a mouthpiece that's comfy and all. and about the puke, just do it. u only have to make sure that u clean ur reg very well. generally, try breating more slowly and steadily. it always gets better and more comfortable as you dive along.

the only mouthpiece that worked for me was Seacure. im sure u've heard of that. i liked it alot because u can mmold it to the shape of your mouth, then it will simply hold itself in place. and as for the heavy headache, i fight it by breathing continuouslym, deep, & even,

my instructor mentioned that it could be because of the motion & the current near the top. i think it's somehow true because during those times, i only feel like puking when im nearly ending my dive at d safety stop..
