How do you keep yourselves warm whenever you are taking surface intervals? For example you're diving 100 feet deep for 30-45 minutes and stay on surface for an hour or so and it is 35 degrees out there in the open.. Do you usually stay in your diving suit? And what if there isn't any dry & warm place where you could relax in?

are you using a wetsuit? because if you do, you may want and you may need to buy a drysuit for your scuba diving instead. that's the one recommended for a freezing temperature!

If my diving suit is a dry suit, then yes, i stay in it for a while after my dive.. But if you have a neoprene dry suit, it doesn't work the same.. You will need to cover it with something so u can reduce the cooling that occurs as the water evaporates from the nylon on the outer layer of the dive suit..

In really cold temps, taking the diving suit off is better.. because drysuits are designed to reduce heat lost through conduction rather than through radiation. however, with a wet diving suit, better if you keep it on..
