I am planning a four-day dive trip next weekend to key largo and would like to get in as many dives as I can. But I don’t want to over do it. I have a plan to get 15 dives using the following sequence and wanted some thoughts whether it is too much:

Day 1: 3 dives
25 feet
45 feet
25 feet (night)

Day 2: 5 dives
100 feet
25 feet
25 feet
25 feet
25 feet (night)

Day 3: 5 dives
45 feet
25 feet
25 feet
25 feet
25 feet (night)

Day 4: 2 dives
100 feet
25 feet

that's fine as long as it would work wid ur co-divers. perhaps u may want to consider getting a Nitrox certification soon, so u can take a longer time at the bottom and at the same time, w/ shorter surface intervals for your diving plans. i seriously think nitrox is ideal shallow & multiple dives like those.

If u can get the strength to dive that much, then go for it! Get sufficient rest when u arrive there, eat, & hydrate well. adjust as needed.

i wonder how it'd be possible for u to convince the other divers in the boat to agree with your plan. unless you are chartering the boat by yourself, alone. plus, that schedule would mean taking 3 trips to the reefs per day and they are about 30-45 mins away from each other. right? so that's a lot of time bouncing around. Sometimes it's the trip that's actually tiring, not the dive itself.

but yea. nitrox is a good suggestion.

with the depths you listed above, you can possibly do all those in a day. your biggest problem is to find a dive mate to accompany u bec most charters only allow 2 dive sites per trip. mostly, we dive in 3 to 4 sites per day in much deeper water. and well, surface intervals become even more important.

I totally agree. Shallow & multiple dives. You don't feel worn out as with compressed air. Usually after a good blend of Nitrox, I feel better diving.
