My wife just had a hip surgery. Do you guys think it's still safe for her to go back to scuba diving? IT's been a while though since her operation, whick was 6months ago (?) But she's still scared to go back to the water for the possible dangeer it can cause.

I hope your wife is well. You didn't say whether or not she has undergone rehabilitation and is able to dive. My guess is that she will know when she's capable of diving and the task load involved. Good luck and I hope a speedy recovery my friend.

The answer will depend on the length of time her body needs to be completely healed. When she feels that she has totally recovered, then she can then go back to diving. Until then, don't let her overdo the activity.

She had already recovered from the operation. She's been actually way too excited to go back to the water for some scuba diving. She just says she already misses those deep sea diving sessions & of course, she misses putting on her diving suit...

well..if its really in her heart! she'll do it! even climbers with amputated legs still climb, some play ball. its really a passion..and that never dies.

it's been quite a long while since i posted
this thread! thank you for the concern. and YES my friend! my wife has
been diving a lot recently, she missed doing it i guess.. she recovered
a little bit fast than normal, thank God!
