Hello all! Where do you think is the best place to live in for good for local diving? 'Cause My family & I are planning to relocate somewhere with a really good local diving. We plan to stay in North Am. & travel a bit too! We generally want the location to have a good commercial diving & boat diving & many offshore dives that are only a boat ride away.

What are your experiences?

If you are one for dry suit diving, i suggest you go to the Puget Sound area! We went there & it was a fun & fine diving vacation. It was a boat launch, so better be careful of other divers launching & retrieving boats.. It was one gorgeous diving site w/ a view of the Seattle skyline

All dive sites are entertaining and the Puget Sound area is no exception.

It was also fun playing among the kelp forests & to peek on the piles of rocks as you look for octopus & other creatures!

Stay at Monterey, CA!!

The water there is calm & glassy. The deep water also has these really dramatic drop-offs! And even before we hit the beach & got all our gear set up, the fog already lifted. Just another great day for diving! This region we went to was the most popular among all diving spots & this is also an ideal place where you can meet new diving buddies, no doubt about that!

Key LARGO!! It was the best scuba diving tour i've ever been to. The fishes, the plants and the weather couldn't be any better. Believe me!!!! Whatever scuba diving training you've had, it's just great! THe area has an ideal view of the underwater & got not much currents.

I suggest you get to that place.. Because i am definitely going back there too!!

There's great diving at Key Tavernier! The wrecks & the reefs aren't like anywhere else's! when we went there, we made a 14wreck/reef trips! and oh, every reef is unique, with its layout and all...! that's why if you're into wreck diving, then this is exactly what you're looking for. the perfect treat!!

Agree, I've been there three times, if I’m not mistaken. I also tried the 14wreck/reef trips. It was Awesome! a very unique scuba diving tour as compared to other places that I've gone diving to.

diving is passion...
