Happy New Year to all my fellow divers and bubble watchers! Tomorrow I will brave the cold waters in my yearly polar bear activity, then I will wear my drysuit and have a good long dive. Ya'll be safe.

I feel alone in this forum! Wake up and post people.
What a wonderful holiday season. All three of our children came
Christmas day. We shared time with several relatives and enjoyed food
and everyone's company. A few had a bit of merriment, although since
Laura and I don't drink we passed on that one. It was strange to see
Zach drink a beer though. When we got back home the kids opened gifts.
It was awesome! I had the best gift of all however. I had my lovely
wife and our three children to share time with. Zach had to work early
the next morning so sadly he and Mitchell had to go home. Caroline
stayed a couple of days. She, Laura and myself had a good time together
including several Starbucks trips.
I had introduced Laura to
"Nip Tuck", and when netflix wasn't shipping over the holidays we
decided to go on an adventure to locate season four. After much
searching we found a store that had it. They held it for us until we
were able to get there. We also had the chance to use our new GPS unit.
It's really nice. Thanks Mother! We had a Nip Tuck marathon!
This
morning I awoke early and did a 50% water change on my ocean in a tank.
My clownfish were happy about that. It's really amazing to see life
evolve from the live sand and Fiji live rock. I have corals growing
naturally from it and also spotted a very small shrimp. Laura and I
could watch it all day. I then prepared to go to Fantasy Lake Scuba
Park where I met up with my friend a man a consider like my
father..Scuba Dave. Dan joined us, (he thought I was in my
30's...thanks Dan), and we put up a tent with heat. It was very warm
inside. A guy named John who is new to the area joined us. His first
good dive here. All four of us had on our dry suits and loaded up
breathing Nitrox. We did a 44 minute dive and swam the entire time. We
saw the usual stuff, i.e.; planes, crusher, cars and so on. We also
went to the deep area and bottomed out at 73 feet with temps around
40ish degrees. I used my new Full Face Mask, (thank you sweetie), and
it was awesome not having to worry about my mask fogging or flooding.
Now
I'm home enjoying a hot cup of Starbucks, washing my dry suit fleece
and waiting for my honey to wake from a well deserved nap.

And oh! Congratulations, by the way. I see you were chosen as ABC's member of the month! Good job!
